E-Learning Plattform

All students and teaching staff at Kempten University of Applied Sciences have access to an e-learning platform with material and functions for lectures and projects.

Use of vhb services

Kempten University of Applied Sciences is one of the member institutions of the Bavarian virtual university (Virtuelle Hochschule Bayern, vhb). Students matriculated at Kempten University have free access to vhb facilities; professional development students can subscribe to the services for a fee.

Courses in computer science, engineering, teacher training, medicine, law, key skills, social work, languages and economics can be attended and completed online. Details are available at  www.vhb.org/kursprogramm. vhb courses can generally be counted towards total credits.

Online language courses

Kempten University of Applied Sciences runs free English, French, Spanish, Italian and German courses for all students and staff. You can study at the University, at home or wherever you choose.

Online Microsoft Office courses

In collaboration with Microsoft, Kempten University of Applied Sciences offers free online courses in Word, Excel and Power Point for all students and staff.

Microsoft IT Accademy

In collaboration with Microsoft, Kempten University of Applied Sciences offers all students free online courses for a range of Microsoft software (e.g. Windows Vista and Microsoft SQL Server).
Students wishing to take part in these courses will first require the "Access Code" from the MSDNAA Portal. This is entered in the ‘Enter access code’ field on the MS eLearning homepage the first time you log on. The service is currently only available with Internet Explorer.
