This is very well possible at Kempten University of Applied Sciences as well as we maintain links with many partner universities world-wide, enabling intensive exchange of students. We welcome some 50 students from our partner universities each semester who gather international experience under excellent study conditions and in a beautiful environment with a high recreational value.

The German Academic Exchange Service or DAAD awarded the European quality label „E-Quality“in 2009 for the fourth time. Kempten University of Applied Sciences was among the eight German universities who were awarded this important prize for excellence in the implementation of mobility measures under the ERASMUS-programme of the European Union.
Being an internationally-oriented institution, Kempten University of Applied Sciences offers its students a great varietey of spending a study stay abroad. Our aim is to achieve the optimum when it comes to preparing our future gradutes for their future career and to offer them opportunities to get to know other countries with different cultural backgrounds. The “E-Quality” label is awarded once every year for special merits and excellence performance in connection with the ERASMUS exchange of German and foreign students and staff. Its purpose is to provide an incentive to further improve quality in European students and staff exchange.
Kempten University of Applied Sciences is an internationally-oriented university taking into account and preparing our students for the growing globalisation.
To better prepare our students for their future jobs and provide them with an opportunity to get to know different countries and cultural environments, we offer a great variety of study abroad possibilities. Doing so we aim at providing an opportunity to gather international experience for all students, be it an academic semester at one of our ? partner universities, or a study-integrated work placement semester abroad. Some of our partner universities offer the possibility to acquire an additional or dual qualification after an exchange period of one year.
Our study offer comprises a comprehensive range of foreign languages to prepare our students for theirstudy abroad periods in terms of language and culture. The International Office provides assistance for the organisation of students’ stays abroad.
Students from other countries are very welcome to study at Kempten, and we consider and experience the many international and exchange students who come to us each year as enrichment to our campus life and student community alike.
