    Michael Thompson has been lecturing finance and accounting at the Ulster Business School for over twenty-five years. In that time he has developed courses for full and part-time students, local businesses and large corporations. He had interns in Indianapolis and Pretoria and has lectured in the UAE.

    An experienced external examiner to UK universities, Michael is particularly interested in technologies to support teaching, equity valuation techniques, the role of fundamental analysis in financial markets and whether or not those markets are efficient.

    Michael graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a Bachelor of Business Studies degree in 1982. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland having gained membership in 1986 after a training contract with Coopers and Lybrand and a post graduate diploma from Queens University, Belfast.
