The sport that might get you hooked

You don’t always have to go to dizzying heights to raise your pulse. Quite the opposite – bouldering involves free climbing, i.e. without a safety harness, and at jumping height on rock or climbing walls. This means minimal risk of injury with maximum climbing fun.

Who can take part?
We welcome anyone and everyone who would like to take part in bouldering.

Please note:
Bouldering has always been extremely popular with our students, there have been waiting lists, and not everyone could be accommodated. Availability therefore cannot be guaranteed.

What should you bring?

  • Sportswear
  • University sports card
  • Climbing shoes can be rented if necessary (for a fee)

When and where does bouldering take place?
Bouldering takes place in the DAV climbing hall “Swoboda Alpin” in Kempten (opposite Cambomare). Training times can be found in the current sports programme .
