A taster of studying at Kempten University of Applied Sciences:
What’s it really like at university and how do you find the right degree programme for you? The best way of finding out is to see for yourself. Kempten University of Applied Sciences regularly runs tasters for prospective students during the Easter vacation. It’s a great opportunity to sample lectures from the various degree programmes and experience first-hand what students actually learn about. Our taster studies give you the chance to get some university experience under your belt and gain a first impression of student life. If you have any questions, please check our Info Point for further information, including all the admission requirements, the application process, and options for adding some extra hands-on experience to your academic studies. In between lectures, you can chat to our current students, who will be on hand to tell you about their own first-hand experiences at the university. There’s also a chance to go on a guided tour of campus or visit the library.

Or explore the Forum Allgäu centre (approx. 10 minutes on foot from campus) and other shops dotted throughout the pedestrian zone.
Enjoy a coffee in a nice café or bakery (e.g. in Forum Allgäu and Bahnhofstrasse).
The town’s various museums, the stately chambers of the Residence and the visitor’s centre in the Erasmus Chapel, to name just a few points of interest, are also well worth a visit.
